Frederick Vitt
Mr. Vitt joined DPI in February, 2003 and is responsible for the leasing, operations and management of DPI’s 1.2 million square foot retail portfolio.
Prior to joining DPI, Mr. Vitt was Regional Vice President of Safeway, Inc. in Chicago, where he was responsible for leasing all excess properties in the eastern United States. From 1997-2002, Mr. Vitt was Regional Vice President of General Growth Properties, a major manager, developer and owner of regional shopping centers throughout the United States. Mr. Vitt was responsible for eight regional malls in the Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Nashville and Myrtle Beach areas totaling approximately eight million square feet. From 1992-1997, Mr. Vitt served as Operations Manager for Rubloff, Inc. in Chicago, a major developer and owner of industrial, office, residential and retail community centers.
Mr. Vitt holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management from Mankato State University. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and holds the ICSC Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation.
