Allen J. Lynch

Mr. Lynch joined DPI in 1991 and oversees all of the company’s investment and operations activities. Since Mr. Lynch’s arrival, DPI has become a recognized industry leader in retail investment and redevelopment, and has grown its portfolio exponentially.

Since 1982, Mr. Lynch has been a Project Manager and Development Partner on over 8 million square feet of completed development projects, and has worked throughout most western states, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Since 1991, Mr. Lynch has owned his own real estate consulting firm, The Lynch Group Inc., and from 1993 to 2011 concurrently served as President of Chesterfield Holdings (US) Inc. and its subsidiaries, the United States investment subsidiary of Quintain Estates plc, a publicly-held London-based property company. From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Lynch was Vice President of the Festival Companies (and its predecessor company) in Los Angeles, a developer and manager of promotional and community shopping centers throughout the United States.

Mr. Lynch holds a B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and holds the Certified Retail Executive (CRX) designation in addition to the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation. Mr. Lynch recently served ten years as Commissioner on the City of Manhattan Beach, CA Board of Building Appeals, and has been a guest lecturer for ICSC, Crittenden, and the UCLA Real Estate Extension program. Mr. Lynch presently serves on several non-profit Boards of Directors, and is a Co-Founder of the non-profit foundation Westcoast Sports Associates, which has funded over $3.5 million to support youth sports programs in disadvantaged areas of Southern California since 1995.
